Share Your Shabbat Story
Do you have a special Shabbat story?
I remember when I went into labor at my parent’s house at Friday night Shabbat dinner and had to go to the hospital. The next week, I was back at the Friday night dinner table with our new daughter in hand!
Shul Radio invites you to share your favorite Shabbat story, whether it be memories, or special Shabbat moments. Your words may be shared to help others feel connected, inspired, and less alone as they welcome Shabbat wherever they are.
You’re Invited
Join us for Shul Radio, a joyful 18-minute Shabbat welcome created for anyone who wants to feel connected to Jewish life even when being in the sanctuary isn’t possible.
I started this podcast to bring Shabbat to you, wherever you are. We hope to provide a warm and joyous way to welcome in Shabbat from the comfort of your home, on your own, with family and/or friends. We will weave together meaning, melody, and heart so we can pause, breathe, and step into Shabbat with delight and intention. Join me each week for a short welcome, a bit of Torah wisdom, familiar and new prayers and songs, and a reminder that we are all part of the Jewish brother and sisterhood.
Shabbat is G-d’s gift. Let us receive and embrace it together.
